What is crewduo?
crewduo is field service management software for trade and home service businesses: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, lawn care, snow removal and more. It runs every job from the first call to the paid invoice: requests, quotes, scheduling and dispatch, a mobile app for the crew, invoicing and payments, plus a business website and client portal. It is made in Canada by Doable Link Inc., and business data is stored in Canada.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. No card and no time limit, for 2 users. It runs the work itself: clients, requests, quotes, jobs, visits, the calendar and the mobile app, with quotes and invoices emailed as PDFs. The client-facing side (your website, online booking, the client portal and taking money online) starts on Van at $39 a month.
Where is my data stored?
In Canada. Your database, photos, files and backups are in Microsoft Azure's Canadian data centres. The few things processed elsewhere, such as card payments and optional AI features, are listed plainly on our Made in Canada page.
What can my clients do in the portal?
Each client gets their own account on your website. They sign in with a one-time code and can see upcoming and past appointments, reschedule or cancel within your rules, pay invoices, accept quotes and request new services. It comes with every paid plan. Switch it on in your website settings.
Does the app work without signal?
Yes. The field app keeps working in basements and dead zones: checking in, photos, notes and signatures are saved on the phone and sync when it is back online.
Can I bring my clients over?
Yes. The setup assistant builds your services and settings with you, and you can import your clients and services from a spreadsheet or a Jobber, Housecall Pro or QuickBooks export, or our team can help. See how crewduo compares with Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan.
How does the free trial work?
There is one free trial: 14 days on Fleet, the plan with every feature, no card needed. Every other plan is bought straight away. If you choose a plan during the trial, your first payment is the day the trial ends. If you don't choose one, you keep full access for 7 more days, then crewduo becomes read-only: you can still sign in, look at everything and export it, and your clients can still pay open invoices. Choose a plan any time to pick up where you left off; the Free plan is one of the choices when your team and visit volume fit it. Data from an expired trial is deleted 90 days after it ends, with reminders before.
Do I have to take a phone line or an AI receptionist?
No. Quotes, invoices and reminders go out by email on every plan. A business line, call intelligence and the AI receptionist are add-ons on Van, Crew and Fleet that you switch on when you want them, and off when the season ends. You can try the receptionist before adding it. Build your plan to see what any combination actually costs.
