What to check in any replacement
- Your headcount first. Everyone who opens the schedule on a phone counts. A crew of three and a crew of ten often get opposite answers.
- The plan you'd really need. Find the features you use today, then the cheapest plan that has all of them, not the headline price.
- Add-ons. Texting, a website, reviews, an AI receptionist: included, priced, or "contact us"?
- Currency and taxes. Billed in USD or CAD, and does it handle your province's GST, HST, PST or QST?
- Where your data is stored. Ask for a country, not "the cloud".
- Getting your data in and out. An import from your current app, and a full export whenever you want.
- The contract. Monthly, a 12-month commitment, or an order form with an early-termination fee.
- The second year. First-year discounts and yearly prepay change every number. Price the plan you'd pay after the promotion ends.

The plan name says little. The number of people decides the bill. Monthly prices before tax, with the yearly rate in brackets. Jobber's are from its pricing page for that team size on October 21, 2026; crewduo's are its smallest paid plan for that many people, with extra users where needed.
